This means that in the unlikely event of us ceasing to trade, both during and after the work is completed, you are safe in the knowledge that the cost of any remedial work will be covered, the protecton is offered for up to ten years. The full value of the work is insured.
HomePro is underwritten by the Association of British Insurers. The scheme is also authorised by the DTI.
1. Applegate Home Improvements Ltd will repair or replace, free of charge, any unit that develops a fault due to defective materials or constructions within 10 years from the date of contract.
2. All orders are subject to our surveyors report.
3. In most cases double glazing should reduce condensation but sometimes conditions exist where this is not so and no guarantees can be given.
4. Brickwork and plastering around new frames will be made good, providing the existing fabric is in sound condition.
5. Glass used is the best available but glass manufacturers will not guarantee against minor imperfection and the company cannot be held responsible for such imperfections.
6. Supply only - no guarantee will be given on fitting or damage to windows or doors after delivery. Inspection and proof of acceptance will be required on delivery.
7. 25% of the contract price quoted is required as a deposit when placing an order. The balance is due on completion.
8. If you are unhappy with the contract for any reason it can be cancelled and a refund of the deposit can be obtained by giving notice in writing addressed to the above and sent by recorded delivery within 5 working days of date on which the contract was signed.
9. When the units are ready for fitting it will be the responsibility of the customer to provide necessary access at that time. If such access is not available as described then the balance of the purchase price is due and payable within 14 days.
10. Fitting will be guaranteed for 10 years from date of invoice.
11. If payment is not paid within 15 working days from completion, Applegate Home Improvements Ltd reserve the right to take windows back to the value of the payment not paid.
12. Facia, Soffits and Guttering will also be guaranteed for 10 years
13. All conservatory bases supplied and fitted by Applegate Home Improvements LTD will be guaranteed for ten years from invoice date.
14. Electrics and plumbing will be guaranteed for 1 year
15. Any service work will be under taken with in 3 working days from reported fault providing parts are in stock.
16. This guarantee is fully transferable from date of invoice.
